About me
Maralina Milazzo, the Director of Leadership and School Systems for the Monterey County Office of Education. This branch of Educational Services serves world-class programs with qualified professionals specializing in Teacher Induction, Administrator Induction, Teacher Residency, PBIS, MTSS, and Expanded Learning. For over 20 years, Maralina has served as a teacher, instructional coach, vice principal, and principal across the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Her roles have included seminar speaker, professional development coach, and mentor teacher for teachers in Japan, South Korea, and the United States. Maralina is currently a doctoral candidate in Global Education at the University of Southern California, where her research focuses on professional development in Finland, Brazil, and the United States. Her passion is in building partnerships to create capacity for successful student outcomes. Maralina also enjoys SCUBA diving, travel, fostering animals, and adventure.
