About me
Lupita Perez, a Senior Specialist at CAN, is a passionate advocate for equitable practices and community health. With a background as an Expanded Learning Site Coordinator and a Crisis Response Case Manager, Lupita brings a wealth of knowledge, energy, and experience to her work. She received her B.A. in Sociology & Feminist Studies and minor in Applied Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Lupita is firmly committed to leaving a positive impact on young people, and the adults that support them, and this extends to her role as a Youth Mental-Health First-Aider and Healing-Centered Engagement Practitioner. She enjoys transformative conversations, is driven to cultivate safe and just spaces, and believes that getting to know people on a deeper level is a gift that keeps on giving.
